I received a call from a number linked to Barclaycard, and I must admit, the incessant barrage of automated messages left me quite suspicious, thinking it could be a scam. In an attempt to clarify, I went ahead and contacted Barclaycard's customer service using the number provided on their official website. They were able to confirm that the number in question is indeed one of theirs. Interestingly, we aren’t clients of theirs, and they assured us that our number has now been taken off their list. We really do hope these calls cease forthwith!

Has anyone received a call from the Barclays group? I'm curious if it's just a cold call, or do you reckon it’s genuine enough for a follow-up when they ask you to ring back on this number?
