Got a text claiming to be from Lloyds, showing last 4 digits of my card and saying it was used in Iceland. Called the bank using their usual number, they said it definitely wasn't from them but didn't really seem bothered about it.

Yesterday I got a text saying my debit card (they showed the last 4 digits) had been used somewhere in the US. The number they sent looked almost exactly like Lloyds Bank’s, so even though I suspected it was dodgy, I gave it a ring. Of course, no one answered and the line was gone dead. I then called Lloyds proper on their real number and everything was fine.

My daughter keeps getting texts saying her card was used overseas and telling her to call a certain number. It’s happened quite a few times now. Seems dodgy to me.
