Got a ring from this number earlier, sounded like a guy who spoke really good English. My landline’s been dodgy lately and I think he gave up on the call cause he couldn’t hear me properly and just ended it.

Got a call from a woman with an English accent, live voice and no recording. She asked for me by name before slowly going through some spiel about a ‘local event’ linked to personal finance. Felt dodgy, like a scam or someone trying to fish for info. I mentioned my TPS registration but they completely ignored it. The caller ID said Lion or something like that, from Event Management.
