11 yearsA chap rang up hoping to have a word with me or my husband. I refused to reveal my identity until he disclosed his location, but he abruptly hung up on me. Quite impolite and quite full of himself, if you ask me!11 yearsI received a call from this number around 4 o'clock this afternoon, and all I could hear was a barrage of foul language, accompanied by what seemed to be a group of young people yelling and cursing in the background. Quite appalling, really!12 yearsI received a call from this firm claiming to be involved in solar energy. The woman on the other end sounded incredibly youthful, perhaps no older than 15, and greeted me with a cheery "Good Afternoon" at half ten in the morning, which was hardly a promising beginning. To add to the irritation, she mentioned that if I were under 75, I could apply for some grant. The kicker is that I'm actually 76-turning 77 tomorrow, no less!
