Got a call from an automated number 0303 313 1364 about writing off debts. They asked me to press 5 to get a callback from someone to stop the calls. Later, i received a call from 0845 286 9459 and spoke to a guy called patrick, sounded like he was from liverpool. When i asked to be removed from their calling list he just cut me off. Such a waste of time!

Got a call from some debt management lot, this bloke called Alex, sounded English. As soon as I told 'em to take me off their list, he just hung up on me. Didn't even bother to say which company he was from. Proper dodgy.

I received a call from a debt write-off firm, even though I’m registered with the Telephone Preference Service. Quite frustrating, really!

Got a call from someone offering help with my debts. When I asked for the company name, they just said "uh, no!" and then slammed the phone down. Definitely a scam!

He didn’t even get my name right and still went on about needing my bank info to sort out some debts. I told Alec or whatever his name was to shove it and then I blocked the number straight away.

I asked about the company and what debt they were talking about, but when I wanted more info, the person just ended the call. Seems like they were fishing for personal stuff.

I got a call telling me I’d replied ‘5’ to a message on my phone, which supposedly meant I wanted a callback to sort out some debts. I did get a weird text from ‘tsb’ asking me to check some info, but I don’t even bank with TSB or have anything to do with them, so I just deleted it. Then not long after, this call came through.

They claimed to be from some consumer help group and kept asking for my bank info. But when I asked them to explain who they really were, they just suddenly ended the call.

Some guy named Alex rang me, proper annoying bloke. As soon as I told him I wasn’t interested, he just hung up on me. If he tries again, I’m definitely gonna waste his time on purpose.

I keep tryin to get this debt management firm to give me their full details and registered address but they just avoid it. They say I've asked them to ring me - which I definitely haven't. Also, they reckon some "marketing company" must have given them my info. When I ask for more info, they just hang up. Best thing is to block this number.

These scamming data grabbers just wanna find people to sell info to others. I normally give em a piece of my mind. I tell em straight up that if I ever catch them, I’ll sort them out proper, like chopping off their heads and all that. Shows them I’m not messing about.

I picked up and all I heard was a robotic voice saying something about being contacted by a skilled personal finance group before it hung up. Strange.
