Given that I'm registered with the Telephone Preference Service, I'm baffled as to why they would even attempt to reach me. I quickly ended the call and added their number to my block list. Quite unsettling, if I'm honest!

I received a rather courteous call from a lady representing a Yorkshire firm called Sublime. She addressed me by name, despite my not having confirmed it. Upon inquiring about the nature of the call, she mentioned it was concerning "recycling credits connected to my postcode". Naturally, I probed into how she had obtained my number, as we’re ex-directory and on the Telephone Preference Service register. She replied that it was acquired from their data provider and assured me she would remove my number from their records.
