This Sublime firm rang me up and actually used my name, which freaked me out a bit. They seemed to have a load of info about me, which is strange coz I’m on the TPS list. Don’t get why they’d still give me a ring. I just ended the call and blocked their number straight away.

Had a call from a very polite woman claiming she was from a company called Sublime based in Yorkshire. She mentioned my name without me giving it, which seemed a bit odd. When I asked what the call was about, she said it was linked to some recycling credits assigned to my area’s postcode. Curious, I questioned how they got my phone number since we’re listed as ex-directory and signed up with the Telephone Preference Service. She explained their data provider had sold them the number and promised to have us removed from their files. While she was on the line, I quickly used my call blocker to block the number before ending the conversation. Caller ID showed Sublime.
