Got a call from a number I didn’t recognise. The bloke on the other end told me he was Jesus, so I just ended the call. Have blocked the number straight away!

I just got a call from that number but didn’t pick up. If it was one of those dodgy energy scams, I’d have given them a load of nonsense back, like the police say, keep them on the line ‘cos eventually it costs them. The ICO take their time but should sort it out eventually. By the way, the TPS isn’t run by the government, so it’s not as helpful as you think - sometimes the list they have can actually be a bit dodgy. It’s a voluntary scheme for companies to avoid cold calling, but it isn’t law. So if a firm isn’t signed up, they can keep ringing endlessly. If you’re fed up with the spam calls, maybe get in touch with your MP and put pressure on them to make telemarketing illegal once and for all!

These solar panel callers just wouldn't quit, even after I said no clearly. They kept insisting I had agreed to get marketing calls, which I hadn't. I tried to be polite but the bloke was really rude, so in the end, I just hung up on him.

Got a call from someone claiming to be from Energy Solutions, but they said they don't care about the TPS list. When I asked for their contact number, they couldn't provide one. As soon as I requested their name, they just ended the call.
