Yet again, First Utility calling me even though I'm already one of their customers.

So it was First Utility calling, and since we actually have an account with them, I thought it was legit as they already had our details. But the call dropped out before I could find out what they were after, so no clue really.

About a week ago, I received a call from this number. When I answered, it was clearly some sort of call centre; a woman was babbling away to someone in the background. I decided it was best to hang up. They’ve been quite persistent, ringing me again today-just got a call around 2 or 3 o'clock this afternoon, but I was out and about on the 1st of December. They seem to call again between 6 and 7 in the evening.

My partner and I got a call from someone claiming to be from Windows, telling us loads of people were using my Windows account. Be careful, it’s definitely a scam.

I got a call from someone who already had my name, they asked me to confirm my address but as soon as I did, they just hung up on me.

Picked up the phone, and there was a cacophony of sounds in the background, but the caller never bothered to utter a word. I've gone ahead and blocked any future calls with my BT 8500, which works a treat! Brilliant!

I'm really getting fed up with these persistent calls, especially when I'm registered with the Telephone Preference Service. In the span of just ten minutes, I've had two inquiries asking if I'm over 75 and whether I own my home. Enough is enough! It's high time these intrusive calls were put to a stop.

Just had a rather unsolicited chat with a firm named 'Green Eco' who were peddling home improvement services over the phone. I made it clear that I’m registered with the Telephone Preference Service (TPS), to which they replied that their records might not be quite current. After a brief conversation with a rather apologetic manager, I informed them that I would be lodging a formal complaint with the TPS.
