Yet again, First Utility calling me even though I'm already one of their customers.

So it was First Utility calling, and since we actually have an account with them, I thought it was legit as they already had our details. But the call dropped out before I could find out what they were after, so no clue really.

About a week ago I got a call. I answered and could tell it was a call centre, cause some woman was chatting to someone in the background, so I just put the phone down. They called early afternoon too (I just had one today around 2 or 3pm, I wasn’t home on 1st December). Also, they ring evening time round 6 or 7pm.

My partner and I got a call from someone claiming to be from Windows, telling us loads of people were using my Windows account. Be careful, it’s definitely a scam.

I got a call from someone who already had my name, they asked me to confirm my address but as soon as I did, they just hung up on me.

I picked up the phone on Saturday, but there was nobody on the line when I answered.

Picked up the phone and could hear some noise in the background from the other side, but no one actually said anything. Managed to block any more calls through my BT 8500. Really good feature!

i’m registered with t p s and still keep getting these calls, twice within just ten minutes asking if i’m over 75 and own my home. it’s about time they put an end to these annoying calls.

Got a call from someone called 'Green Eco', trying to sell home improvements and they didn’t seem to notice I’m on the TPS list. When I told them that, they said their records must be old. I ended up chatting to their manager who was quite sorry about it, but I made it clear I’d be reporting them to the TPS. If you get calls like this, make sure you’re actually on the TPS at http://www.tpsonline.org.uk/tps/registered.php and if you are, definitely report the nuisance calls there.

Today I got a couple of calls on my mobile from an international number. Quite odd to get those out of the blue.

I've just gone ahead and done that. My hope is that this puts an end to them ringing up unsuspecting individuals who are on the TPS list, yet somehow they seem to disregard it.
