Just had a call from these clowns a mere five minutes back... but they didn’t manage to utter a word before I gave them a good blow on the whistle! Quite the rude awakening for them, I reckon.

I've had a few missed calls from this lot - they hung up just before I could pick up. I decided to ring back and was greeted by a pre-recorded message claiming to be from "Green Deal Union". They reassured me it wasn’t urgent and that they would ring again later. Naturally, I did a bit of digging online and found the number 0800 0469190. Gave it a go and ended up chatting with a proper person who said he’d look into their records. After a quick check, he noted that we’re registered with the Telephone Preference Service and assured me that we wouldn’t get any more calls. Time will tell, I suppose. Seems these guys are based in Glasgow. I couldn’t resist mentioning the hefty £2 million fine handed out today!

There was some music blaring in the background, which suggested it wasn't a workplace. Nobody uttered a word, so we decided to hang up and swap the receiver. After that, we dialled 1471 to check the number.

I received a call on my mobile, which is registered with the Telephone Preference Service, on 23rd June 2015. I used a landline to investigate it and, of course, chose to withhold my number. The voice on the other end claimed to be from Union Technical Services. Consequently, I decided to block that number on my mobile after researching it further on this site.

I received a call on my mobile, which is registered with the Telephone Preference Service, so I decided to use a landline that hides its number to find out who was trying to reach me. It came up as Union Technical Services, which seems to fit the pattern of the scams regarding government boiler schemes for green deals, based on what I've seen in other comments. This might have just taken over from the old-school scams related to Windows PCs.

I seem to receive nearly constant calls from this number, yet the caller never identifies themselves or bothers to leave a voicemail. Most of the time, they ring in the morning, although I’ve noticed they also pop up in the afternoons now and then. Quite irritating, really!
