I've been inundated with calls featuring an automated voice from a number that wasn’t revealing its identity. Eventually, I opted to press 5 to secure a call back. The number that returned my call had a distinctive Mancunian twang. I made it clear that I didn't want any further correspondence and that I'd consider lodging a complaint against their number if they persisted. Apparently, they were some sort of firm dealing with debt relief or something similar.

lol, got a call from some guy claiming to be from "Consumer Direct" trying to give me tips about IVAs (not really my thing). I just played along while I was on my way back home. He reckoned the only way to make it work was to say you're a lodger at your own place... yeah, sure...
