I've been inundated with calls featuring an automated voice from a number that wasn’t revealing its identity. Eventually, I opted to press 5 to secure a call back. The number that returned my call had a distinctive Mancunian twang. I made it clear that I didn't want any further correspondence and that I'd consider lodging a complaint against their number if they persisted. Apparently, they were some sort of firm dealing with debt relief or something similar.

Haha! Just had a right laugh with a chap from "Consumer Direct". He was trying to peddle some advice on IVAs-completely pointless for me, mind you. But I thought I'd have a bit of fun since he rang me while I was strolling home. His brilliant suggestion? To "just act like a lodger at your own place." I mean, really? Come off it!
