I received a rather alarming call this afternoon at 16:40. A female voice, quite panicked, stated, "Dad, I need you to come and get me," before abruptly ending the call. It sent shivers down my spine, particularly as I have a daughter of my own. Instantly, I dialled her up, and thankfully she picked up-turns out she hadn’t even attempted to ring me! I was a bundle of nerves, especially since the last time my daughter reached out in distress, she was involved in a car accident where she was entirely blameless.
