We've been getting calls from this number repeatedly for the past fortnight! Frustrating, isn't it? But we've taken action and put the number on our 'do not disturb' list through our Samsung Galaxy S2. It's a fantastic little feature-now all these callers are met with an engaged tone instead! 😊

Upon dialling 1471, I discovered that this number belongs to Policy Experts, and they were attempting to sell me home insurance. I'm uncertain about their legitimacy, but I certainly wasn't thrilled about the prospect of being on hold for five to ten minutes while the telemarketer transferred my details to their supervisor. In this day and age, with all the advanced technology we have, I couldn't shake the worry that my phone might be at risk during that period of silence. If you are indeed a genuine company, I apologise for any misunderstanding.

I've been receiving calls from this number two times daily - once around late morning and then again in the early afternoon - for over a week now. Strangely enough, they never bother to leave a voicemail.

A rather peculiar incident occurred with us too. We received a call on our mobile from these individuals who were specifically asking for my partner, totally bypassing me. Shortly after, they hung up. I attempted to return the call, only to find the number was no longer in service. Quite baffling, really!

Got a call from this number saying it was about home insurance and that my policy had ended in August. I told them it hadn’t, and then they asked when it actually ends. When I said I wasn’t sure, they said “no worries, I’ll update our info” and just hung up. Definitely sounded like they were fishing for new insurance customers.
