They just rang me up trying to sell magazine trial subscriptions for £1, and I actually signed up for three which I'd usually never do. Then the guy had the nerve to make a joke about me not knowing how these offers work and started laughing. I told him off straight away, proper rude behaviour!

Totally a fraud - they asked my brother for his bank info on 17/12/2016. Tried ringing them back three times but it just says it’s Dennis Publishing and then only lets you press “1” to cancel your number. So definitely tag this as 'RISKY' Alan Bell 19/12/2016

Got a call from some survey/competition I entered online, one was about life insurance, but I’ve just ignored the rest. Should’ve known better than to try those ‘free’ comps that hit you with 4 texts a week charging £4.50 each time, every single week, for every comp. If you don’t pay attention to the tiny print, you’ll soon be stuck with a massive bill and never-ending annoying calls from call centres trying to sell you all sorts, from needles to anchors and whatever else.

If you gave your details somewhere online looking for a cheaper subscription, that's probably why they rang you. They seem to be a legit firm, and they just use the info you willingly put out there, like your phone number and name.

They've been blowing up my phone multiple times a day since before Christmas 2015! When I answer, there’s this voicemail claiming to be from Denis Publishing, telling me to press 1 if I want to take my number off their list. Honestly, I don’t trust these scammers one bit. How on earth did they get hold of my number? Whoever is selling or sharing our details should be heavily fined, and us phone owners ought to get some kind of compensation. This situation has gone way beyond acceptable. It’s getting to the point where next they’ll be ringing to ask if you want to die! Why aren’t the police stepping in? And why aren’t O2, Orange, and other phone companies doing more to stop these crooks?

They ring you and hope you get interested enough to ring them back on an 0845 number. If you do, they keep you chatting for ages, draining your phone credit or bloating your bill. Sometimes they pretend to be from computer support or a magazine, then just hang up on you. Seriously, don’t bother calling back.

Like some others have said, the phone rings for quite a bit, enough time to pick it up. I've answered twice already - once when I was at the docs and another time on my home phone. They only ring my mobile, know my full name, but never say who they are before hanging up.
I’m officially disabled and try to take every call, but this is really getting on my nerves now. Sometimes they call as many as five times a day. Proper fed up with these Rsoles.

Since then, between 3pm and 8pm, I’ve missed about 5 more calls. I’ve got M.S. and use a wheelchair, so my phone’s really important to me, but now I’m too scared to even pick it up. Got a call from them on Wednesday 17th July at 3:21pm, then they rang me three times the next day, Thursday 18th July, at 9:20am, 12:58pm and again at 6:43pm. Still not done, they hit me with 4 calls today, Friday 19th July, at 10:18 in the morning, 12:36 afternoon, 3:52pm and then just before 7:15pm. Proper irritating!
