However, upon visiting my local EE store to discuss this, they had no record of any such offer-only a deposit linked to a different contract and device. I promptly cancelled everything and am now on a quest to uncover who made that call, with intentions to pursue legal action. My advice? Never accept offers made over the phone; they're almost always a scam.
