Got a call on me mobile, picked up and all I heard was heavy breathing and then a quiet "hello" so I just hung up straight away. Been getting loads of calls lately, some pretending to be from Unite about life insurance, others claiming to be Virgin trying to sell stuff. It's proper ridiculous how often they ring! This one’s meant to be from EE, which just makes it worse. I really can’t stand these cold sales calls, if I’m interested in buying anything I’ll reach out myself. What a load of muppets!

Most likely it’s just some dodgy scammer, maybe an accidental dial from someone called “Wahinder Mamoot Sandeep” or something equally made up like “Ram Jam Sponge Singh.” Just picking up and shouting abuse at them is probably the best way to deal with it.

I got a voicemail from this number that was honestly quite unsettling, it really freaked me out.

This number has been calling me loads of times. When I finally picked up, the person said they were from EE, saying something about loyalty benefits on my account. I told them the first part of my address because they already knew my name, but I’m really puzzled how they got hold of my mobile number in the first place.

I called EE up and they said they have no clue who it is. They told me to save it as a contact and set my phone to send all their calls straight to voicemail. I got a call from a London number, 0207 060 4512, with a woman working for EE in a call centre. She was quite polite, but I told her I was tied up and asked if she could call back the next day. Sure enough, the following morning, my phone rang again, this time from 0845 286 0303. I just let it go to voicemail since I'm not interested in buying anything or switching contracts. The caller said it was EE or Orange.

Someone rang me from an unknown number but I didn’t pick up and I never do with numbers I don’t recognise. If they leave a voicemail, I might have a listen, but otherwise I just ignore them. I keep a list of these mystery callers saved as cold callers in my phone, so if they try again I know not to bother.

Loving this new way to block numbers on the iPhone! They keep calling non-stop. When I did pick up, some bloke said as a loyal Orange customer, they were pushing everyone to switch over to EE now. Funny enough, I'd only just renewed my Orange contract the previous week. They tried to sweeten the deal by saying they'd waive the sign-up fee this time and even throw in a tablet. It's crazy because EE has this number marked as safe, but from what I've heard, EE's not much better - pretty dodgy too.

Don't bother with this number, had some bloke from 'Orange' calling me about their amazing deals on iPads and tablets. The person on the other end sounded a bit shady and told me that as a valued Orange customer, I was being offered a choice of three items, including a tablet. I got suspicious straight away, so I asked if they could email me the details. They said they couldn't because of “Data Protection.” That didn’t make sense to me since there’s no real data they should be protecting. I told them to call back later. When I looked up the number online, it turned out to be a business with no connection to Orange at all.

Dont pick up these calls, its not really Orange, just some outside firm pretending to be them. I got a ring saying they would swap my HTC Desire C for a Samsung Galaxy S3 early for £150 upfront plus £26 a month over 2 years, saying it was because I been a loyal Orange customer. I said yes, but when i went to the EE shop to talk about it, they had no info on it at all except a deposit for a different deal. I cancelled straight away and now im trying to find out who these scammers really are so I can take legal action... Never trust phone deals like this, they're almost always a con.
