We only identified this number as belonging to Belcom after we called it back right after initially missing the call. We received a message saying it was them, stating that they'd get in touch again. Now, they seem to ring us at the same time every day, between 11:45 and 11:55. Consequently, we've decided not to answer anymore.

Every time I attempt to ring back, it turns out to be a company called Belcom, and an automated voice informs me that they’ll be making another sales call shortly. Strangely, when they do ring, it’s just another silent call. In fact, I've received five of these within the last two days! I’m also registered with the TPS, but it seems that doesn't stop the incessant Belcom calls from coming through.

As soon as yet another one rang through, we chose to keep our lips zipped right from the off - in our experience, the moment we utter a word, it cuts straight to a dial tone. This time, however, we were met with an eerie silence that lingered on the line for a good half hour before it finally gave way to that dreaded dial tone.
