I recently received a phone call from someone claiming to be from the so-called "Crime Prevention" magazine, which I suspect is entirely made-up. They were ringing up and pretending to be affiliated with law enforcement, even posing as a chief inspector or some such. These characters were rather insistent on acquiring my credit card number during the conversation. However, upon contacting the police, I found out that it was a scam and absolutely not to be trusted. Definitely steer clear of these individuals!

They’re asking for credit card details over the phone, which raised all sorts of red flags. The local constabulary has confirmed it’s a scam, so steer clear and don’t part with any money!
