This number has been ringing my work's direct line nonstop, and every so often they leave this irritatingRecorded message about some parcel I’ve never sent and about creating an account or something. It’s very obviously a pre-recorded message because it’s exactly the same each time! I reckon it’s more of a nuisance call rather than an outright scam, but who knows... either way, I’ve blocked the number now!

We recently switched to FedEx for shipping at work, and this was the number that rang me up. I told the bloke it’s marked as probably spam, and since it’s a call centre, there isn’t much they can do. Still, to me it sounded like a proper call about our FedEx stuff.

A bloke said he was Stelios from FedEx, ringing about some sort of account I supposedly set up with them but never touched. Thing is, I already have one proper account with FedEx (a trade credit one), which I actually use. Makes me think this call was dodgy since you'd figure they'd be aware of the account I've got. Pretty sure it’s a scam, if you ask me.

I got a call from someone claiming to be FedEx, and they even mentioned my husband's name and his company, so at first I figured it was legit. But now I'm having doubts. They didn’t ask for any payment or personal info, just asked me to confirm his name and the business name. Hoping I haven't given out anything that could be misused. I’m going to block the number anyway, just to be safe.

I got a voicemail from a bloke claiming to be Stelios at FedEx, saying he wanted to talk to Jodie about some business account that hasn’t been active lately. It sounded like a recorded message and they gave a callback number from Basingstoke, 01256-224034. I haven’t bothered ringing back since I reckon it’s a scam that might hit you with reverse charges. My company’s InfoSec team is looking into it because the same message has been left a few times now.

Definitely someone ringing from outside the UK, you can tell by the little lag and how they spoke. Said they were from Fed-Ex asking who handles parcel deliveries. Didn’t bother asking where they got my details from! I just labelled the number as ‘unknown’ since not sure if it was really Fed-Ex or a scam.

This guy called saying he was from FedEx. From how the call went, it seemed like a straightforward sales pitch and nothing dodgy. He didn’t ask for any card details or say I had packages waiting, like some others have mentioned here. When I told him, "We actually never send anything by courier," he just thanked me for my time and ended the call. Not every incoming call, sales or not, has to be a problem. Let’s be fair and remember some people are just trying to do their job properly.

Got a call from some dodgy bloke claiming to be from FedEx, saying I owed customs fees. I haven't ordered anything so I found it fishy straight away. They said I could only pay over the phone and wanted all my card details - number, expiry, CVV, my full address, name on the card, plus a security question and even my PIN.
