They all claim they can assist us, but there's always a catch; they want us to cough up £49 because they act as brokers and not actual lenders. It’s raising all sorts of red flags for me!

It seems our number has ended up on some list that these scammers are using, as we're now inundated with calls from various so-called lenders, both day and night, not to mention a barrage of text messages. I'm absolutely fed up with it all! Each time they contact us, they claim they can assist, but they want a hefty £49 upfront since they’re brokers, not actual lenders. This whole situation feels incredibly dodgy - it positively reeks of a scam!
