Just like the rest, really. A foreign lady called our dad's house on the 20th of December, asking for him directly. Since he’s not able to manage calls himself, we took the reins. It struck us as a potential scam, especially given the dreadful quality of the line. After about half an hour of trying to decipher what they wanted from him, which led us absolutely nowhere, we decided to hang up.

When I rang the number back, I encountered a rather peculiar automated message from an American woman informing me that the number is no longer in service. Quite strange, isn’t it? Yet now, I'm bombarded with two to three calls daily, but there’s never anyone on the other end once I pick up!
