Called earlier today, but I didn't pick up.

Just like the rest, really. A foreign lady called our dad's house on the 20th of December, asking for him directly. Since he’s not able to manage calls himself, we took the reins. It struck us as a potential scam, especially given the dreadful quality of the line. After about half an hour of trying to decipher what they wanted from him, which led us absolutely nowhere, we decided to hang up.

We're receiving calls from these folks non-stop as well. What on earth is going on?
10 years
Absolutely not. It appeared on my caller ID as 044845 2574457, and the line went silent the moment I answered. Just who on earth could these individuals be?

I've been getting calls from this number for about a month now, averaging a couple each week. Most of the time, it's just silence on the other end. I’m really not sure what the purpose of these calls is supposed to be!

I received a call from the number 00448452574457, and the person on the other end, who claimed to be from Australia, was asking for someone by name. If I recall correctly, they mentioned being affiliated with something like "global debt management," though I'm not entirely certain about the exact title. It certainly has the whiff of a phishing scam, aiming to extract personal details from unsuspecting individuals. Quite suspicious if you ask me!

I received a missed call this evening and decided to do a 1471 to find out who it was. When I rang the number back, I encountered a rather peculiar automated message from an American woman informing me that the number is no longer in service. Quite strange, isn’t it? This all makes me ponder if it’s somehow linked to the ongoing concerns about personal information security, such as the recent issues with child benefit data, perhaps? Very fishy indeed!

This company keeps calling incessantly, and when we try to return the call, we’re met with a recorded message stating that the number is "no longer in service." What a complete farce!

This number has been trying to get through on our newly disconnected landline as well as our mobiles, making several calls then cutting off after a brief ring. They’ve also been leaving silent voicemails for ages without uttering a word!

Received a call from this number, but as soon as we answered, they just hung up! I've now listed them as ‘Ignore’ in my call directory, so I won’t have to deal with them again.

As soon as we answered the call, they hung up straight away.

We’ve been inundated with calls at my parents’ residence, almost on a daily basis. It seems to be some sort of auto-dialling scheme, and they evidently lack sufficient staff to manage it. It feels like a dodgy operation, trying to fish for personal details so they can swindle unsuspecting individuals. It’s quite concerning, really.

When we answered the phone, all we could hear was an incessant ringing sound. As soon as we realised it was a nuisance call, we hung up promptly and dialled 1471 to trace it. The number was 08452574457, so we decided to look it up online and came across some interesting information.

I received a call from a foreign chap claiming to represent Global Telecom. However, the moment we asked for a proper business address, they hung up abruptly! When we dialled 0845 257 4457, it redirected us to the USA, and an automated message informed us that the number is no longer active. Quite suspicious, if you ask me!

I came across an inquiry from a young lady whose native tongue isn't English, and she's curious about credit card usage and spending patterns.

Received a call from 08452574457. A foreign-sounding chap asked for "Matthew." We immediately caught on and told him, "Matthew’s not in." He simply said "Alright" and hung up promptly. Quite fishy, I must say!

Received a call from someone claiming to be with Nokia. They asked for my credit card information, saying I’d receive complimentary messages and the like as a special treat for being a valued patron.

I received a call from 08452574457, and it was alarmingly similar to a message I had received before. A chap with a foreign accent was keen to speak with someone named "Matthew." We quickly caught on to the ruse and informed him that "Matthew" wasn’t around. He simply replied with an “Ok” and terminated the call. This occurred a few weeks back. However, these individuals rang again not long after, and when I expressed my disinterest, they claimed they would remove us from their list. Yet now, I'm bombarded with two to three calls daily, but there’s never anyone on the other end once I pick up!

The number 0845 2574457 keeps ringing our mum's house, but as soon as she picks up the call, the other party hangs up. We have no clue who they claim to be or what their intentions might be. It's quite puzzling, really!

We receive a couple of calls from this number daily, sometimes even three! Today (Saturday) alone, we've had two of them. When we answer, the conversation quickly descends into nonsense, and let me tell you, our patience wears thin, and we don't hold back on being blunt!

I received a call from a number ending in 08452574457 on Monday at 4pm, back on the 5th of December in 2007. The chap on the other end had quite a thick accent, possibly foreign or perhaps Pakistani. He was waffling on about me winning a mobile phone and then had the cheek to request my National Insurance number, date of birth, address, and even my banking information. Quite dodgy, if you ask me!
