Received a call while we were busy at the office. They didn’t leave a message, though. The call came in at 10:55 in the morning.

They claim to have £3500 up for grabs for home improvements, but the moment I declined their offer, they lost all interest. A quick search of the number 08452507271 redirects to a website that pretends to be UPS, the courier service, and bizarrely, the tracking number they provide is exactly the same as the phone number they've been using to reach out to me. I've reported this to Thames Valley Police and asked them to look into it further.

However, I've done some digging and couldn't find any record of them on Companies House. It turns out that the previous company using that name is defunct and has a typical history. Quite suspicious if you ask me!

I even arranged for a sales representative to come to measure my windows, and upon his arrival, I sought clarification on the company’s specifics. It turns out the genuine name of the business is Weatherseal, with their head office located at the address below. If you feel the need to reach out to them or file a complaint, just remember that these salespeople can be quite creative with their pitches to close a deal.
