Absolutely, I've just experienced something similar. The message went on to instruct, "If you're involved in a road traffic incident, please press 1." Naturally, I didn’t press anything; I simply lingered on the line and listened in. Then, another voice came on to say, "Apologies, it appears I'm having trouble with your call. Farewell." I'm not quite sure what that was intended to be, but it certainly feels like some sort of scam to me.
