Received a rather relentless flurry of missed calls on my mobile, and lo and behold, I noticed the same number had rung through at work too! Curiosity got the better of me, so I called the number back. To my surprise, I was greeted with a recorded message saying, "Earlier today, you were contacted by American Express Insurance. No further action is necessary on your part."

Curiosity got the better of me, so I gave them a ring back. Lo and behold, the recorded message informed me: "Earlier today, you were contacted by American Express Insurance. There's nothing further you need to do." Quite the intrigue, I must say!

I receive at least one call daily, and there are times, particularly on a weekly basis, where it can go up to two or three calls, despite being registered with the Telephone Preference Service.

Coincidentally, we've been bombarded with correspondence from American Express Insurance just this week. It's quite suspicious, as it mirrors the activities of Sophie, Bob, and us appearing in their directory. Being singled out in such a manner has firmly convinced me that I would never consider engaging in business with them!
