Concerned, she then contacted Three directly, only to find out that they had no record of a call and knew nothing about these scammers. It’s quite alarming, really!

We experienced something quite similar, to begin with, we decided to overlook the calls as we thought it might just be our service provider trying to pitch a new contract. However, when we did finally answer, the line went silent on both occasions. We had called from a work line and identified it as a company named BMS. We even selected the option for sales, but soon after that, we simply hung up. To our amusement, those folks proceeded to pick up! Quite the turn of events, don’t you think?

I’ve had the displeasure of encountering these callers who utilise automatic dialing systems. Often, you'd pick up and the line would go completely silent. When, by chance, you do manage to connect with an actual person, their behaviour is downright rude and totally unacceptable. They seem intent on prying out personal information to persuade you into switching your service or locking you into lengthy contracts. Make no mistake, these individuals have absolutely no affiliation with Three. While they might claim to be a 3G dealer, that doesn’t carry any weight. They’re simply bothersome and employ tactics that are rather dubious, to say the least.

We received a call last night from some folks inquiring if we’d like to take advantage of an upgrade. We are indeed eligible for one in less than a week, but I was rather puzzled about which network was reaching out since their origin was unclear. As soon as the caller asked, “Would you be interested in an upgrade?”, we responded with a rather puzzled “Now?”. They seemed to have taken that as a “No!”, promptly wrapping up the conversation with “Alright, thank you, goodbye”. Honestly, I'm relieved they misinterpreted us, as it’s quite obvious this isn’t from 3!
