It's become a bit of a joke really. Every time these callers get through, we answer only to be met with the unmistakable sound of a call centre with all its background chatter. But before we can even say a word, they hang up. It’s utterly ridiculous!

When you manage to figure out who's on the other end of the phone and can track down their website, heading to the contact page to drop them a note usually yields good results. Something along the lines of: "I’d like to remind you that, under the Privacy & Electronic Communications (EC Directive) Regulations 2003, it’s unlawful to place unsolicited calls to individuals who have opted out of such contact. I frequently receive calls from your number despite my clear preferences. I kindly ask that you cease all further communications and ensure my information is removed from your database. Thank you."

It's always the same story with these callers. They ring us up, we answer-can clearly make out the hustle and bustle of a call centre in the background-but then, poof, they hang up!

Every time these folks call, we pick up, but they just end up disconnecting. Quite baffling!

It turns out giving them a bell does the trick! We made a single call, shared our name along with the postcode of our soon-to-be home, and, of course, the phone number. After that, they kept ringing us. They were quite apologetic, and thankfully, the incessant calls came to a halt afterwards. Honestly, I don’t reckon they're doing it on purpose. Apparently, their autodialling system's hit a snag. (Perhaps they ought to sort that out!)

Absolutely the same situation here. These callers incessantly bang on the line, and the moment we answer, they just hang up. It’s been a frustrating saga stretching over several weeks now. I kindly urge you to take action regarding this nuisance. As I’m currently recovering, it’s quite unsettling to be continually interrupted by them.
