I reckon I've stumbled upon a bit of a dodgy situation. Someone contacted me claiming that my business had signed up to sponsor a few books for local schools, which simply isn’t the case. Sounds like a scam to me!

This number rang me but they just cut off. I tried ringing back right away and got a message saying the number couldn’t be found.

Heads up, it’s a total ripoff! They mess around with this fake sponsorship cash for school book publications - don’t fall for it, it’s all a scam! Beware!

Someone phoned me saying I’d backed some Books for Schools thing last year, but I honestly don’t remember that at all. They asked if I wanted the ‘certificate’ to be under my name or the name of the company, since we’re a charity. Then when I asked for more info, they just hung up on me pretty quickly.
