We've no clue about who this might be, possibly due to the fact that they're using an auto-dialler. It appears that Telewest is the owner of this number. Being customers of NTL/Virgin cable, it seems likely they’re just fishing for business through our telecoms. This comes right after the last debacle, when they caused issues with our central heating and couldn’t manage proper direct debits. They even tried to make us suffer as a result. Honestly, we’d only entertain their sales pitch if they were the very last company on the planet!

I just received a call from this number. I'm guessing it was an automated dialler, as the line went dead as soon as I picked up.

Received a call from this number at 8 in the evening. It seemed to be a robocall, as there was no one on the line when I answered. I've only come across that previous comment regarding this number in the past fifteen minutes. Quite odd, isn’t it?

I received a call from this number, and as soon as I answered, there was nothing but silence on the line. What's intriguing is that they didn’t withhold their number, which means we can actually use 1471 to trace it!
