We received a rather unwelcoming voicemail from a firm that appears to be a BPO. It seems they’re involved in debt collection, possibly for clients like Virgin Media, among others. Frankly, they can send all the messages they like, but it’s worth noting that we won’t be parting with any funds to them.

Every day, without fail, we receive a call from this number-occasionally even twice in the same day. Since I’m usually here when it rings, I’ve made it a point not to answer it any longer. I’ve noticed that the folks on the other end often stay silent for a bit, listening to part of our voicemail before they just hang up. Quite the nuisance, I must say!

Over the past five weeks, I've received countless calls from both 08451479101 and 08451479102 while I've been away. They claim to be associated with Affinion International (best give Google or Wikipedia a whirl for the lowdown). Apparently, if you dial 08451479100, you can supposedly remove yourself from their calling list, which leads me to suspect they're either pesky telemarketers or perhaps running some sort of survey. Quite the nuisance, really!

Frequently, these callers seem to only listen for a bit before hanging up abruptly. It's rather irritating, to say the least!

I’ve asked six times for them to clarify the purpose of the calls, but they refused to confirm anything, so I eventually hung up. They claim to be associated with a company we have a credit card with. I’m definitely reaching out to our service provider to ensure they can block this number from contacting us again.
