I received a call from this number, but as soon as I picked up, the line went dead. Curiosity got the better of me, and I decided to ring it back. I was greeted by a recorded message that asked, "Is this phone number 07,,,,,,,,,,49.. (my number)? If so, please press 1 or provide your phone number." Naturally, I opted to do nothing instead. A bit of sleuthing on Google revealed that 08451347108 is linked to a firm named NUMBERS TELECOM LTD. A quick check on Companies House showed there's only a single director, and their reported financial turnover as of March 2020 was a mere £14,000-public information, so no GDPR worries there.
