Was just tuning into LBC about dementia, then tried to find some info online for a mate using Google. Suddenly got a call from this number... didn’t pick up but thought I’d check it out and found it linked to dodgy health scams! So, blocked it straight away. Bit creepy how fast it came through after I’d looked the stuff up!

08451344359 rang me just now, claiming to be from the emergency blood and transplant service, but they didn’t leave any message or say if they're NHS or a private healthcare number. I’ve gone ahead and blocked it straight away. It’s mad, these calls could be critical, yet they don’t identify themselves properly. If organisations block these numbers like I do, maybe these scammers wouldn’t get anywhere. I’ve reported this a few times to Ofcom and BT so they can investigate and go after these time wasters. I’ve got over 300 such numbers now I’ve flagged up with the authorities.
