Got a call earlier today from someone who said they were with 3 Mobile. They wanted my debit card info to give me £150 for a day without service. Definitely a scam, nothing to do with 3 Mobile at all.

I rang the number back and got an automated message saying, “your number has been verified and confirmed, someone will get in touch soon.”

I could tell right away that this caller was up to no good. They rang me a staggering nine times in a row, and each time I picked up, the line went completely silent as if they hung up immediately. It was quite suspicious, to say the least!

The phone buzzes for a short moment then cuts off. Definitely not worth calling back, it drains your credit too fast.

Got a call with some dodgy recorded message, didn’t sound legit at all. Felt like a scam or something fishy going on. Definitely wouldn’t trust it.

It’s such a waste of time when you get some woman on the line who’s just mumbling away, probably trying to trick you into handing over cash. Best just to hang up and not bother replying.
