So, this Wangiri scam is honestly aimed at folks who are daft enough to ring back missed calls from random numbers. It’s mad how many people fall for it. The return call itself isn’t gonna cost loads, but the scammers rake in cash from the charges over time. If you get one, just text 7726 to report it. For more info on reporting dodgy calls, texts, emails and fake sites, have a look at the police Action Fraud website. If people don’t tell the authorities, how can they know how bad it really is? Reporting this stuff is the only way to put a stop to it!

For years now, I’ve been getting calls from 0845 1341616 - they usually ring once and then hang up. I never answer and block it but then another 0845 number pops up and does exactly the same thing. Honestly, just ignore them and eventually they’ll give up.

The phone rang thrice in succession, but each time it cut off just after three rings. Quite peculiar!
