I keep getting calls from 0845 134 numbers, but they usually hang up after just two rings. It’s pretty annoying, so I’ve started blocking them. Pretty sure they want you to ring back so they can charge you.

It just shows that the number is verified, but I’m pretty sure they charge you for that! Total rip-off!

Didn’t get any voicemail. After reading the replies, it looks like a scam, so glad I didn’t pick up.

I keep gettting calls from this number about every three days or so. It just rings twice then cuts off quickly. Pretty annoying!

Weird thing is, I always assumed 0845 numbers were either free or covered under unlimited call bundles, but apparently that's not the case on mobiles. I called that number back and ended up paying 39p just to hear some recorded message saying "Your number has been confirmed." Felt like a total con. They ring you, hang up fast so it shows as missed, but you never get to pick up properly. Then if you call back, they hit you with a connection charge. Proper dodgy setup.
