I had my phone switched off for a while and when I finally turned it back on, I noticed a call from this number. Strangely, there was no voicemail left, and when I attempted to return the call, it just rang without anyone picking up. Quite puzzling!

When I try to return the call, I hear an automated message spoken in an American accent stating, 'Your number has now been verified. Our customer service team will contact you shortly.' This has been persisting for a few months now, and I’m convinced it’s some kind of dodgy scam.
