I rang back the number 0845 134 0546 only to hear a message saying, "Thank you, your number has been registered." It didn't specify what for, though. Sounds like a dodgy scam to me! I just hope I'm not left with a ridiculous bill, thinking it was something urgent!

When I picked up the phone, I was met with a rather off-putting automated voice that informed me, "your number has been registered." Before I could even digest that rather vague statement, the line went dead. Quite alarming, really, as I had no clue as to who was on the other end. What does 'my number is registered' even mean? Registered with whom exactly? Without a moment's hesitation, I decided to block this number immediately. Given how rampant scams and dodgy operations are in the UK-arguably the worst in Europe-I strongly recommend that everyone does the same! Better safe than sorry, as they say!

I received a pre-recorded message indicating that my number has been registered, but it didn’t provide any additional information. I refrained from returning the call as I’m wary of it possibly being a premium-rate line.
