We decided to ring 020 8207 9000 to tell them to stop bothering us on our mobile and requested that they remove our details from their records. They played it off, claiming they couldn’t identify the sources of the calls. What a load of nonsense!

Apparently, our number was handed over to them by a company we’ve got a finance arrangement with. When we asked if they were trying to sell us something, they confirmed they were, so I made it clear that we had no interest. I guess we'll see if they decide to give us another call tomorrow.

When I decided to return the call, I was met with a message saying something like "You have been contacted by ****** (not quite sure if it was 'cottage' or something else), Pinnacle. It’s not particularly urgent, but rest assured, we'll be in touch once more. Should you wish to stop receiving these calls, simply leave your name and number, and I’ll ensure you’re removed from our contact list." Or something along those lines, anyway.
