I just received a suspicious email claiming to be from Nationwide, and this phone number was mentioned in it too. I’ve gone ahead and reported it to their security team at [email protected]. Better safe than sorry, I reckon!

I received an email today that had me worried, claiming to be from Nationwide Building Society and asking for my security details, with the number 08451200833 attached. Out of caution, I decided to ring the number. A lady answered claiming to be from Yorkshire Building Society instead. After making a quick call to Nationwide to verify the legitimacy, I was relieved to hear it was all a scam and I promptly deleted the dodgy email. Stay safe everyone!
