Today I got a dodgy email pretending to be from Nationwide Building Society asking for my security info, and it had the number 08451200833 on it. When I called, some lady picked up and claimed it was Yorkshire Building Society. I double-checked with Nationwide itself, who told me it wasn’t anything to do with them, so I just deleted the email straight away.
