Received a call from a debt collector representing Scottish Power the other day. They seemed to struggle quite a bit with their English, which left us quite baffled. We've decided not to engage with them anymore, as it became rather unclear what they were actually trying to convey. They really don’t seem to have things quite figured out!

I'm in the same boat. It’s rather frustrating when these folks can’t track down a phone number. Nonetheless, we managed to persuade them to record our name and number and asked them to remove it from their database. Now, it’s just a matter of waiting to see if they actually follow through with it. Fingers crossed!

In addition to our earlier message, these individuals specifically asked for our Grandmother by her name. We’re quite doubtful about the whole situation, yet it strikes us as rather odd that they would accidentally dial a number belonging to someone with the exact same name. Our sceptical nature leads us to hold off until we receive more calls, after which we might be more inclined to believe that these folks are genuinely as they seem.

I’ve been trying to track down this bloke we've never encountered before, and he refuses to engage with us at all. I attempted to return the ring, but the number listed above seems to be ignoring any calls we make. Thankfully, I managed to dig up their office number in Scotland, only to be met with a rather unpleasant young lady who told me to ring yet another number! She then promptly hung up on me... delightful, isn’t it?

Absolutely the same experience. It's rather frustrating that they can't look up a phone number properly! However, we did manage to get them to note our name and number, and we've asked them to remove it from their records. Now, it's just a matter of waiting to see if they actually follow through on that.

I've been bombarded with persistent calls from these numpties. It's akin to what Marie mentioned earlier. Not too long ago, we had a chinwag with someone and made it abundantly clear that they had the wrong ‘un. We even gave them a name, as we thought it best to point out that our identity isn’t their business. They kept insisting we were the person they wanted, which we definitely aren’t. They promised to take our number off their list, but I’m still waiting for that to happen. What a bunch of chancers!

In addition to our previous message, a quick email to [email protected] letting them know that the individuals in question have contacted the wrong number should suffice to resolve the issue. I received a polite reply earlier today expressing gratitude and confirming they would remove the number from their files. The website presents BCW as an "ethical and professional credit management firm" that evidently values its responsibilities. In this instance, it appears they are indeed honouring that reputation.

Why not pick up the phone and give these folks a bell? Just look at how they operate! The number to reach them is 0141 221 4567 (Head Office). Keep ringing them with silent calls; bombard them all day long for as many days as it takes! Let’s show them how it feels to be on the receiving end!

We’ve been receiving calls on our daughter’s mobile every single day. She’s only ten years old, so we really doubt that this person has any outstanding debts. It’s quite perplexing!

We recently received a rather perplexing call from some clowns claiming we owed money to 'Orange'. The truth is, we don’t have any debts whatsoever, except perhaps for some unresolved matters with an ex. They suggested we could settle this non-existent bill over the phone if we shared our credit card details. We calmly told them where to go, which, to be honest, was the more polite approach than they deserved. Just a heads up to everyone-watch out for these charlatans!

It’s rather baffling, isn’t it? It feels like this crowd has just emerged from nowhere, as they’ve been ringing us almost every day for the past couple of weeks. Each time we answer, it’s just eerily silent on the other end. They never leave a message, and good luck trying to get a hold of them if you call back! Honestly, it’s rather ludicrous. One can only assume that the phone company is chuckling all the way to the bank while this lot racks up a hefty bill for absolutely no reason. I’ve registered with that call preference service, so your guess is as good as mine about how they got hold of our number!
