I just called my mum's phone company and they told me it was a Careline number, not some dodgy scam like I thought. Apparently Careline does random checks on lines that don’t actually make the phone ring but still appear on your bill. The number was 084511118112.

I recently found myself in a bit of a pickle regarding my so-called "all-inclusive getaway." Truth be told, I've never been on one! When I inquired about which trip they were referring to, they quickly backtracked and claimed they were simply checking if I had experienced one at all. They hung up before I could request to be taken off their call list and ensure I wouldn't be bothered further. I've since blocked the number.
