Then they got really rude and even accused me of lying. Definitely not paying their so-called 'bill' and plan to report them just like others suggested.

Online Marketing Solutions is a total rip-off. I've unfortunately had to deal with several of their so-called staff after getting loads of emails demanding I pay a £299 fee for a contract I’ve never even seen or signed. Today, I had a rather unpleasant chat with some bloke named Steve - if you can call him that - who spent more time shouting and calling me a liar than explaining anything. He even said I need anger management and threatened to take me to court. Well, bring it on. I've already reported them for fraud.

I got charged £299 and told them straight I didn’t want it. I tried cancelling through email but they came back saying they won’t cancel either by phone or email. Since then, they keep blowing up my phone and inbox with texts, calls, and emails nonstop. If I never actually agreed to or signed any contract for these services, isn’t that kinda not legally legit?

What a bunch of con artists! I received a call regarding some nonsense about Google. I told them to send any correspondence to our email, as that's how we officially agree to engage in work. Next thing I know, they're trying to bill us for £299! Absolute muppets! They really need to be dealt with!

These people are total scammers. I’ve had the same experience as others, no proper address given to cancel anything. They even threatened to play a recording of our call. If you check online reviews for this number, you’ll find loads of horrible feedback like mine. Can’t wait to sort this out in court!

This company seriously needs to be closed down, I've told trading standards about them. They claim I gave consent for a service which I never did. Also, they kept playing a tampered recording back at me - caller: Unknown.

That 08450942750 number is from some sort of online marketing group, but honestly, they come off as scammers and pretty rude ones at that. They never really told me what their product or service was actually about, yet they kept pushing for payment. Like, why should I give them money without proper info? just had the same thing happen to me, really pushy. they sent a doctored recording where you can hardly hear my side but hers is loud and clear, totally lip-synced. i never signed up for anything and it wasn’t clear at all what i was supposedly ordering. felt like one of those annoying calls trying to confirm business info. she didn’t even let me ask what she meant about a £299 invoice before abruptly wishing me a happy new year and hanging up. i’ve reported them to trading standards already!

We’ve even shared these recordings with Action Fraud, who confirmed that what we’re doing isn’t fraudulent. We’re a company that manages Google business listings, so this definitely isn’t a scam. When someone calls and offers a paid service, everything is explained clearly - the service, the price, and the payment terms. If you agree to it, that’s not scamming. If you don’t cancel according to the terms on our website, the money is owed. We keep recordings as proof of contract in case any legal issues arise. If anyone suggests the recordings have been tampered with, we’re happy to pass them to the police for investigation. Claiming you agreed by accident or mistook the service for something else, yet didn’t cancel within the terms, is just not right. Watch out for this lot!!!! I just went through the same thing. They were really pushy. In the end, they played us a phone chat that sounded totally doctored. They reckoned that asking us to verify an email made the call legally binding or something daft like that. The numbers involved were 08450 942750, and once we got a call from 07470 208180 - the caller gave the names David or Leanne.

Then suddenly, I get an invoice through the post. When I called to sort it out, they claimed the call was recorded and that I’d legally agreed to something. Tried explaining they got really rude, started threatening legal action, then just hung up. They dropped the charge from £299 to £199 but I told them I didn’t want their service. They kept phoning back, getting more aggressive each time. At one point, they played me a doctored version of the original call when I mentioned it, and just swore at me again. I told them I knew other companies were doing this too, and they responded with “what’s that got to do with it?” Couldn’t even find a proper website for them. Caller ID was 0845 0942750, and the people on the line said their names were David or Leanne.

I got a call from a firm claiming they’d help me with my Google listing for free. After they went over my info, out of nowhere they said the service would cost me £199. I tried to say I wasn’t interested but they just hung up on me. Then, out of the blue, I received an email invoice for £199. When I rang them back, they played some edited clip of me supposedly agreeing to the deal and cut me off as soon as I questioned the sudden charge since they said it was free at first. Their website doesn’t have an email, no business address, and their T&Cs only let you cancel within a week with no clear way to contact them. This company is a total scam - caller was Online Marking Solutions.

I got a call from this number and it was definitely some kind of internet marketing scam - the person on the other end was just a scammer.
