If I let it go to the answering machine, they never bother leaving a message, opting instead to wait until the "please leave a message after the tone" part plays before they hang up. I’ve looked this number up online and numerous people claim it’s Tesco Bank. However, I’m fairly certain it’s not, considering my partner used to bank with Tesco; he has responded to many of these annoying calls and he always mentions that Tesco properly introduces themselves, which this caller never does. Despite asking them repeatedly to take our number off their list, it seems to have fallen on deaf ears.
