I’ve just received a call from a place calling themselves “The Money Group.” I never bothered to stick around on the line to discover what they were peddling. I've encountered several silent calls from them before as well.

It appears that we have been subjected to persistent nuisance calls from the aforementioned number. This unsettling situation has been ongoing since our application for a credit card with Vanquis [Provident] was denied. Each time we pick up, they seem to hang up right away, which is quite distressing for my partner. Considering he’s 69, has a heart condition, and has undergone cancer treatment resulting in a stoma, this is quite alarming for us both. We are desperate for this to come to an end!

Blimey, I received a call from this number and chose not to pick up since it’s an 0845. I've been inundated with questionable calls from lenders over the past year or so. Honestly, we’ve just stopped answering altogether. Seems they’re not quite catching onto the hint!

This number has been ringing us a couple of times a week. The very first time we answered, we rather courteously told them to leave us be, but alas, they persist in calling us without fail! We’ve since decided not to engage and have set it to auto-reject. Nevertheless, our phone continues to notify us each time they attempt to get through, and it’s becoming most bothersome! We were under the impression that the government had enacted regulations to put an end to this sort of thing. What are our options for getting these callers to cease their relentless harassment, and is there any way they could face penalties for their incessant ringing?
