Blimey! For nearly a week now, I've been bombarded with calls from this number! The latest one simply shows up as INTERNATIONAL. It seems that every time we return home from work, the phone has rung three times during the day. After glancing through what others have written, I'm quite relieved that I’m never at home when these callers ring. I keep hoping they’ll tire of our answerphone and just move on, but alas, that doesn’t seem to be the case! What a nuisance!

A female caller from "Digital Services" popped up on my ex-directory number last night, pretending to be affiliated with SKY TV. She had the cheek to use our names and started prattling on about our Sky box and maintenance of the equipment. It's obvious she was just trying to rope us into some dodgy maintenance contract. I told her to cut to the quick, as I had no intention of indulging her nonsense.

Absolutely thrilled with this company! They’re brilliant, yet some folks seem utterly clueless! When will they understand that we don’t subscribe to Sky, Virgin, or any other money-hungry company that’s got us all on a tight leash? I’ve got an aerial and a television, that’s it. So, we let them ramble on and blow their cash trying to sell us something, and then we throw in a cheeky line about living in a cave with our twenty siblings, who happen to be our parents, aunts, and uncles. Funny enough, the phone line goes dead right after that!

I've been inundated with endless calls from an unavailable number, and eventually, I answered. On the other end was someone with a pronounced foreign accent who asked us a series of questions. They wanted to confirm who we were, verify our address, and check if our Sky account was in our name. Since then, I’ve been bombarded by another number claiming to be Sky, ringing me four or five times a day! It’s becoming a regular occurrence, every few days without fail, all concerning the renewal of our Sky warranty. I make it clear every single time that I'm not interested, as I'm in the process of upgrading, yet these pests continue to hound me. I’ve truly had enough!

What I encountered was precisely what one might call a dialler. Essentially, it employs a specific area code and proceeds to ring through every conceivable number combination, which is how it manages to reach those elusive ex-directory numbers. More often than not, the dialler simply hangs up because there’s no operator on the line to answer the call. It’s maddening, to say the least, and frankly, there’s very little recourse. Once the dialler moves beyond your area code, you can expect the nuisance to cease. Generally, it's advisable to notify your service provider about these sorts of calls as well.

My phone rang twice from this number. A woman named KATIE claimed she worked for Sky, but let me tell you, she was painfully slow on the line. Definitely had a strong Northern accent. It seemed like they were trying to sell some sort of add-on insurance. The moment we said we weren't interested, the line just went dead! It makes you wonder how they’re managing to get hold of non-public numbers, doesn’t it?
