Why on earth can't these people just disappear and find something better to do?

I'm in the same boat, and believe it or not, I don’t even have an account with T-Mobile anymore! I switched providers almost a year back, and since then, I've been bombarded by calls from companies linked to T-Mobile, constantly pestering me about my previous contract. I wasn't aware of the data breach Jamie brought up, but that certainly clarifies a lot. One of the texts I received read: "Dear T-Mobile customer, kindly contact Anna Davis regarding your T-Mobile account at Tel: 0207 288 8799." Quite the nuisance, I must say!

I received a text message saying: "Hello Mr X, it's Anna. Reference your T-Mobile account, phone number 0845 021 0099. C: Code AB24." Honestly, this is beyond frustrating! This isn’t the first time I’ve been bothered by such messages. We’ve had no intention of reaching out to them, and we certainly won’t be doing so. Why can’t these people just move on and find something better to do with their time?

Received a text reading, "ref AB24: msg Alert: Hello, could you get in touch with Anna (regarding your T-Mobile account) at 0845 021 0099." Just a few days prior, I had an identical message, albeit with a different number to call.
