I tried ringing back but got a message from BT saying "number not recognised". But they’d just rung me, so there’s no way it’s genuine.

I answered and there was just silence from the other side. Didn’t bother picking up again and ended up blocking the number on my phone.

Got a call at 3.33pm, answered it but stayed quiet. There was nothing but silence on the other side and then it just hung up after a while. Honestly hope that company’s boss has to deal with calls like this non-stop all day long.

Someone rang me about some debts over £5,000 and this whole "you can afford it" thing, but honestly it sounded like rubbish to me. Probably just another scam trying to get you to pay up. I wouldn’t trust calls like that without checking first. Very dodgy if you ask me.
