I received a rather dubious text that read, "Hello Dgirl, we’re here to assist you in clearing your debts and getting back on track! :) Give us a call on 0845 017 3245 today!" We’re quite hesitant to respond and are trying to determine how we can block both numbers without having to engage with them directly. It’s unsettling that they already know our name, and we certainly don't wish to confirm that this number belongs to us to a complete stranger!

Honestly, I wouldn’t advise responding to messages like this - best to steer clear!

I received a text that said, “Hello, we can assist you in settling your debts :) Please call 08450173245. Feel free to delete this message if you wish.” Oddly enough, it even contained our name! I decided against replying and intend to ignore any further communications from them.
