Last month, I found myself £40 lighter after being billed for calls to this number that I supposedly made. I reached out to the provider to dispute the charges and, after some back-and-forth, managed to get a refund. Fast forward to today, and I've just opened my latest bill, only to see another £48 charged for calls to the same number! A quick glance at my call history shows no trace of any incoming or outgoing calls to it. I'm unsure if I might have blocked the number previously, so I decided to investigate further, which led me to this site.

Last month, I noticed a £40 charge on my bill for some alleged calls to this number. Naturally, I raised a dispute, and they claimed the calls were made from my device. After a bit of back and forth, I managed to get a refund. Now, to my surprise, I’ve just received my latest statement, and there’s another £48 charged for calls to the same elusive number. I’ve gone through my call log, and there’s no sign of it - neither incoming nor outgoing. It’s possible I might have blocked it previously, but honestly, I’m not sure. Out of curiosity, I decided to look it up and stumbled upon this site.

This number belongs to Virgin Mobile, and I've found it labelled as a Special Service on my BT bill. I ended up spending an hour and fifteen minutes on the phone which set me back £4.16, only to be repeatedly given the wrong information about the issue I was facing. What a farce! It’s no surprise that Richard Branson has amassed such wealth! Rather than penning books, he ought to be embarrassed!
