Hey everyone, just wanted to clear something up. I’ve been a senior rep at this company for over two years now, so I thought I’d share some info. If your phone hasn’t arrived, honestly the issue usually isn’t on our side. You need to pass a credit check, and sometimes people fail because there’s not enough money on their card, or they don’t pick up the security call within 24 hours after placing an order. Also, if your credit rating is too low, unfortunately you won’t qualify with us. And for those saying we’re scamming, we don’t even ask for all your personal details, plus all calls we do are recorded. So please don’t accuse us without knowing the full story. Cheers!

I got a call from a private number claiming there was a 60% discount just for today. When I said I needed to check with my husband first, the caller kept insisting I should get a new phone because mine was old and outdated. Even after I said I didn’t want a phone, they carried on praising all the “great” features and started asking for my bank details. I was really unsure and almost gave them the info, but then I thought better of it and stopped. The way he was speaking was quite rude, almost shouting at me, demanding I give him my bank details, saying it’d only take a minute. I wasn’t having it and ended up hanging up.

Received a rather dubious call from this number, purporting to be from Three. They claimed I was selected for an exclusive new contract due to my loyalty as a customer. Naturally, I went along with it and provided my details, even signing up for this contract alongside some other offers, like a Supercard. However, upon contacting Three directly, they have no record of this transaction whatsoever. When I attempted to ring the number back, all I got was a marketing spiel, asking me to hold for a consultant, but it just loops endlessly. Quite concerning, if you ask me! Can anyone assist?

Yesterday, I got a call from them with a deal on an iPhone and I gave them my info. They promised to call me back today, but no sign of them. I also contacted Three to check and they said that number isn’t connected to them whatsoever. Strange situation!

I tried ringing the number right after because they convinced my elderly and disabled dad to sign up for a phone and broadband deal, but he didn’t really get what was going on. When I called, it just gave a beep and then hung up on me. I even used another phone and it said the number wasn’t in service and was apparently available to buy?? Quite suspicious if you ask me.

Just got off the phone after doing a survey online where I specifically said I didn’t want any calls back. They were promising cash for my old phone, enough to pay off my contract apparently, plus a Samsung S5 with unlimited data and calls. I even handed over my bank details carefully, and now they’re meant to call me back to confirm the deal. After thinking about it, I’m going to back out. Trouble is, I think they signed me up for several free trials without my real consent and I have no idea how to stop them. What have I gotten myself into?

I got a call from someone claiming to be from Vodafone, asking for my bank details. When I refused, they got really insistent, saying stuff like, "Don’t you want to save cash and grab a new iPhone??" It sounded totally fake and the whole thing was so obvious... I just hung up, but they kept ringing back again and again, like 7 or 8 times! Honestly, it's so frustrating.

Had a call from a number I didn’t recognise, this bloke was claiming he was from Sky and wanted me to sign up with him. When I said I'd call back on my own terms, he passed me this number and told me to ask for Sam at Sky. Bit dodgy if you ask me.
