I tried ringing the Bikesure insurance customer helpline, which is under Adrian Flux group, to change something on my policy. After being on hold for about 25 mins waiting for someone to help, I only found out later that the wait was costing me £1 per minute! Proper annoyed about that.

This phone number belongs to Bikesure, which is the branding used by Adrian Flux insurance brokers to promote their rather pricey motorcycle insurance. I gave them a call looking for a quote, completely unaware it was a premium rate number. It’s become evident now why their service was so lacking; they kept putting me on hold for ages. Of course, I wasn’t informed at all that I was dialling a premium line.
