I received an email from a company named Close Brothers Retail Finance, which I've never encountered before, and I'm certain I don't have any loans with them. The email contained two attachments that I didn't dare to open for safety reasons. Here's a snippet from the email: --- Dear Mr Brown, Attached is an important message from Close Brothers Retail Finance concerning your loan with us. It's crucial that you take the time to read through this message. Should you have any questions regarding this email or the attachments, please don’t hesitate to give us a ring at 0844 880 6542 or drop us an email at [email protected].
