Got a missed call and a text on 20th Sept telling me they’d been trying to reach me and it was urgent to talk “today”. Thought I’d be helpful, so I rang back, waited for about 5 minutes, then dropped them a text! What a waste of time.

Never before have I been sent a text from someone with a mobile number like this. The message claimed it was urgent to call an 0844 number. Naturally, I didn’t call back and would just bin the message if it shows up again. I'm really curious how they even got hold of my mobile number since I hardly ever share it on the sites I deal with.
